  • Currently, there are only 6 registered medical oncologists in Kenya. Population is 45 million’
  • There are only 4 registered radiation oncologists
  • There are 3 radiotherapy machines owned by private hospitals and 1 owned by a public hospital. Ration is 1: 5 million
  • There are only 3 registered oncologist nurses in Kenya
  • There are about 12 mammogram machines in Kenya, over 22.5 million women

We are especially in desperate need of radiologists, oncologists, oncology surgeons, nurses in educational and clinical areas. We also encourage researchers and public health student to consider breast cancer in Kenya as an area of study.
